Executive Director and Chairman of the Board: Jeremy R McDonald

Jeremy R. McDonald is the Founder and Executive Director of the Jacksonville Knights, Inc. a premier Minor League Football Organization focused on advancing the careers of young athletes and coaches.

 

Prior to founding the Jacksonville Knights Mr. McDonald was the President and CEO of East Coast Investments and Pinnacle Construction and Consulting. East Coast Investments was one of the leading Real Estate investment companies in the North Florida area. Pinnacle Construction and Consulting was a leading residential restoration and renovation company.

 

Mr. McDonald has a stellar history as a high performing professional in both consumer and commercial financing. Prior to founding the Knights he worked for consumer financing companies Citi Financial Mortgage, Uni Mortgage, and UNETA Mortgage. Mr. McDonald currently holds a position with commercial banking giant CIT.

 

Mr. McDonald has a 16 year background as a football player and has been involved in the sport from a very young age. He is a graduate of Clay High School in Green Cove Springs, Florida where he earned a football scholarship to attended Lambuth University. After his collegiate playing days were over he spent two season playing Minor League Football.

 

Mr. McDonald is a proud Husband and Father of four. He envisions the Jacksonville Knights as being a premier Minor League organization that will assist young men in living out their athletic dreams while becoming leaders in their community.

Board of Directors: Erik Gibson

Mr. Gibson is a veteran to Professional and Minor League  football, he is a Valdosta State Alum and has spent time with the Green Bay Packers as well as the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL. Erik also was a member of the Jacksonville Tomcats AFL2 team.

Since 2000 Erik has played for various Professional Indoor football teams and has the skills and leadership to take the Football operations of the Jacksonville Knights to Elite levels. Erik played High school football at Middleburg High school in Middleburg Florida. Won the distinguished athlete award from the Marines and the Air force in football.  Voted the Distinguished Athlete Award by the North Florida Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame.

Has a son, Brady Alexander Gibson, and looks forward to bringing an Entertaining and Professional football team to the great fans of Jacksonville Florida.

Director of Finance and Secretary: Meredith McDonald

Meredith brings a wealth of Banking and Financial Accounting skills to the Knights organization. Mrs. McDonald has held various roles with Vy Star Credit Union as well as currently managing two teams at Commercial Banking Giant CIT. Meredith bring the strong organizational, accounting, and financial skills that will guide The Jacksonville Knights, Inc. to be the leader in financial transparency and accountability. Meredith is a graduate of Ridgeview High School and currently has her Associates Degree in Business Management, and is currently pursuing her Bachelors in Management. Meredith is also a Nationally qualified NPC Fitness competitor, devoted wife, and loving mother of 4. The Knights are excited to have someone with Meredith’s knowledge and skill overseeing the financial accountability of our great organization.
