The Jacksonville Knights Professional Minor League football team remained undefeated on March 6 with a convincing 31-14 victory over the surging Brevard Rams. The Rams came into the day’s contest having not lost since the Knights defeated them in week two of the FFA Season. The Knights were led on offense by Bethune Cookeman star Lawrence McCloud. McCloud hit Antonio Bailey from Oklahoma and Larry Lawrence from San Jose State on long touchdown passes. McCloud on the day went 9 of 18 for 194 yards passing with 2 touchdowns and no interceptions. Personal: Ed is originally from the Bronx, New York. Ed went to Lawrence High School where he stared in both football and lacrosse earning All-Star honors in both sports. After graduation he served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Ed is a 4 time Minor League Football All-Star in the NAFL, SSFL, and FFA. Ed is the son of Eddie Antonio Valentine, he has three brothers and sisters. He resides in Jacksonville, Fl with his wife and two sons Brandon & Camden. |
