Personal: Joey is from Jacksonville, Florida, he attended Terry Parker High School then moved on to EWC for his college career. Joey lead WWC in tackles, and tackles for loss all 4 years he played. After Joey graduated he received a tryout with the home town Jacksonville Jaguars, were he was able to make an impression earning himself a camp position. Joey would later go on to just barley miss out on the final roster. Joey is currently studding for his masters degree.
